If you’ve always wanted to follow the call of the wild, and learn how to handle falcons, this is an activity that you’ll enjoy. During this guided adventure, you will learn about the falconer’s equipment, how to pick up the bird and place it on the right perch position, releasing the bird, as well as recall.
The groups are kept small – 6 max – so you’ll have close contact with the Harris Hawk, while the falconer (guide) takes you on a walk in the forest. The falconer will introduce you, the apprentice, to the handling, equipment and free-flying techniques.
Equipped with a glove, a falconry bag, a whistle and food for hawk, you will call the raptor to his glove several times.
